Princessa Lane - Renne Drive North Emergency Sewer Manhole Repair Project

Project Objective

JEA crews completed a project to replace a failing sanitary sewer manhole located at the intersection of Princessa Lane and Renne Drive North. This manhole was very deep and will required extensive dewatering to remove the ground water prior to any work.

Conditions During Construction

Construction will occur in the City’s rights of way and easements. JEA crews will be rehabilitating the manhole located at the intersection and may be required to partially close the street to thru traffic while construction is in progress. These closures are necessary for both the safety of the workers and the general public.  

There will be limited access to the areas around the sewer manhole while work is underway.  Please observe all construction signs, detours, and general directions provided by the JEA crews working onsite.  We apologize in advance for delays caused by this work.

Restoration of Project Area

Restoration of the project area will begin after the sewer manhole has been installed and the dewatering system removed. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
