Prosperity Lake Drive Emergency Sewer Improvement Project

Project Objective
JEA crews will soon be in your area making emergency repairs to a failing sanitary sewer line located near 9111 Prosperity Lake Drive. This sewer line must be repaired to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves your neighborhood. Failures to sewer lines can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
For the safety of our crews and the public, JEA crews will be required to temporarily close a portion of Prosperity Lake Drive while this work is completed. Please see the work area map below.
Residents will be provided access and will be permitted to drive (with caution) through the work area. Please observe all construction signs, detours and general directions provided by the crews working on-site.
For the safety of our crews, dewatering pumps to remove ground water will be required prior to excavation. These pump systems will operate continuously 24/7 throughout the work.
This work will not affect your normal water, sewer and/or electric service. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused by this construction work.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin soon after the project has been completed. Any existing grass, sprinklers, pavement, curb, gutter, driveways and/or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
