Project Objective
JEA has completed rehabilitation of the potable water well located within the Lux Apartment Complex at 11901 Abess Boulevard. This well is one of over 122 active wells that are a part of JEA’s regional water supply transmission system. Completion of these well will improve our system’s overall water availability, reliability and will continue to provide a robust water supply system throughout JEA’s service territory.

Project Phases
This work took place phases. First, we began rehabilitation of the well, followed by a period of evaluation and documentation and then returned to complete rehabilitation of the well to include replacement of the equipment that serves the well.
Construction Area
For the safety of the general public, this area was fenced in for the duration of the project.
Conditions During Construction
Construction activities took place on JEA’s property and within the City of Jacksonville rights of way, easements and roads. T
