Project Objective
JEA crews have completed emergency repairs to a portion of a sanitary sewer main on Shirley Avenue between Vista Avenue and Retaw Street. Failures to sewer mains can potentially cause major sewer back-ups and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Construction occurred in the City’s rights of way, streets and easements.
Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin once the new sewer main has been installed, tested and cleared for use and the individual service connections have been made. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
