Project Objective
JEA contractor crews (JB Coxwell) installed a section of sanitary sewer line located on St. Johns Avenue between Donald Street and Aberdeen Street. Crews also worked along Riverside Avenue, Aberdeen Street and Donald Street and tied the new sewer line in to the existing sewer lines, and reversed the private sewer lateral connection to homes located within this square block. Please see overall project work area map below.
JEA contractor crews (JB Coxwell and Eagerton Plumbing) completed work on the final phase of the project which included abandoning an existing sewer manhole and installing new private sewer laterals that serve both 1715 and 1717 Aberdeen Street. This work was necessary to ensure the reliability of the sewer system that serves your neighborhood. Failures to sewer lines can potentially cause major sewer back-ups, environmental harm and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Construction primarily occurred in City of Jacksonville rights-of-way, roads, and easements.
