Roads Affected
Strawflower Place, N. Lantana Avenue, Avenue B Street
Project Objective
JEA crews will be replacing an 350 foot section of failing sanitary sewer main and two sewer manholes on Strawflower Place. The sewer main will be replaced from the manhole at the end of Strawflower Place and continue through a JEA easement and terminate at the existing sewer manhole that backs up to both N. Lantana Avenue and Avenue B Street. This work may require the removal of ground water with a pump system prior to any pipe installation.
Construction Conditions
Construction will occur in the City’s rights of way and easements. Please observe all construction signs, detours, and general directions provided by the JEA crews working onsite. We apologize in advance for delays caused by this work.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the sewer main has been installed and the dewatering system removed. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
