Theresa Drive Water Main Improvement Project

This project has been completed.Below is the information provided to customers prior to the project start date. 

JEA will be installing a new 12-inch water main to connect two existing water mains along Theresa Drive from the intersection of Theresa Drive and Jefferson Street to 10600 Theresa Drive. When completed, this project will loop the existing water system which will increase water pressure, and provide for better reliability for the school and area customers. 

Conditions During Construction

Construction will occur in the City’s rights of way, streets and easements. There will be times when your road will have limited access (one lane closed) while the water main is being installed along Theresa Drive. JEA will maintain the flow of traffic with flagmen. Residents and parents dropping and picking up their children from school may experience some minor delays. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we improve your utilities.  

Water Outages

There are no planned water outages required for this project. 

Restoration of Project Area 

Restoration of the project area will begin once the water lines are installed and have been tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
