Project Objective
During the course of a City of Jacksonville project to clear a portion of the storm drainage ditch in the utility easement between Valleyview Drive and Woodleigh Drive, crews located a portion of the sanitary sewer line that required immediate repair. This line is located behind 7723 Valleyview Drive.
JEA crews replaced approximately 100 feet of sanitary ewer line and 2 sanitary sewer manholes. Crews also inspected the sanitary sewer lines in the immediate area to assess their current condition and to identify any other potential repairs that may be required. This work did not impact your normal JEA water and sewer service and was not related to the proposed City of Jacksonville storm drainage project.
Once JEA crews finished making repairs to the sanitary sewer line, the City of Jacksonville will return to finish clearing the storm drainage ditch.
