Project Objective
JEA electric crews upgraded and replaced some of the electric equipment that serves the Victoria Lakes neighborhood. This portion consisted of pulling new electric cables through the recently installed conduit and adding a new electric switch cabinet. This work created a new loop in the electric system that will allow JEA to restore power faster in the event of an unplanned outage and improve the overall reliability of your electric service.
Construction Conditions
Construction primarily occurred in the City of Jacksonville rights of way, roads and easements.

Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area typically begins 2-3 weeks after the new electric system has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
