Project Objective
JEA is repaired a portion of a sanitary sewer main at the intersection of Wattle Tree Road West and Fern Tree Drive. Failures to sewer lines can potentially cause major sewer back-ups and roadway issues.
Construction Conditions
Construction occured in the City’s streets, rights of way and easements. This work required the removal of ground water with pump systems prior to construction. These pump systems operated continuously during the repairs.
Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin after the sewer line has been repaired, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be restored.
