West Virginia Avenue Water Main Improvement Project

NOTE: In some circumstances, night weekend and extended hours may be necessary. JEA crews will not work on JEA holidays (2/17/20).
Project Objective
JEA have completed a project to replace a portion of the potable water lines on West Virginia Court and on West Virginia Avenue, beginning at each end of Hema Road. This work also included the installation of two (2) new fire hydrants. This project will increase water pressure and provide improved system reliability and fire protection.
Construction Conditions
Construction occurred in the City’s rights of way, streets and easements.

Restoration of the Project Area
Restoration of the project area will begin once the water main has been installed, tested and cleared for use. Upon completion of the project, any existing pavement, grass, driveways or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to its pre-construction condition.
