Woodmere Water Treatment Facility Improvement Project

Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

NOTE:  Start and completion dates are highly subject to change, and in some circumstances weekend and evening hours may be necessary. 

The Woodmere Water Plant is located at 5710 Edenfield Road, Jacksonville, FL 32277.  A review at the facility by our engineers determined that the water treatment facility was nearing the end of its service life and should be upgraded and replaced accordingly. The recently completed upgrade project included the design and construction of a new water supply well (Well No. 3), a new 0.75 MG water storage tank, abandonment of existing Well No. 1 and site demolition of two tanks and the old water treatment facility.

During this project, most of the construction took place behind the fenced areas of the plant and equipment traffic will be confined to Edenfield Road to access the facility. This project included the demolition and construction of several components behind the fenced areas of the facility.
