Project Objective
JEA crews completed work on the second phase of a project to upgrade and replace the existing water mains on Myra Street and Green Street from Shearer Avenue to McDuff Avenue South, and on Myra Street and Green Street from McDuff Avenue South to the east dead end street adjacent to Roosevelt Boulevard.
This project also included the installation of one (1) new fire hydrant. This project will provide increased water pressure, improved system reliability and enhanced fire protection to the area.
Construction Conditions
Work primarily occurred in City of Jacksonville rights-of-way, roads, and easements.

Restoration of Project Area
Restoration of the project area typically begins 2-3 weeks after the sewer main has been repaired, tested and cleared for use. Any existing pavement, grass, curb, gutter, driveways, or sidewalks affected during construction will be returned to their pre-construction condition.
